Abstract

Las redes sociales son parte importante de la vida cotidiana tanto de jóvenes como adultos, pero muchos de ellos no son conscientes de todos los peligros a los que están expuestos al navegar en estas. Los jóvenes, especialmente, acceden desde muy temprana edad a estos sitios. Hay que saber que, en Colombia, según la Ley 109 de 2010 solo las personas mayores de 14 años pueden abrir libremente una cuenta en una red social. Partiendo de esto, se debe tener claro que los jóvenes a esta edad se exponen a varios peligros como lo pueden ser el sexting, grooming y ciberbullying; por otra parte, los padres, en general, no están muy interesados en el tipo de contenido que ven sus hijos ni en saber con quiénes interactúan en las redes. De esta manera, “En la red, vamos de la mano” tiene como objetivo desarrollar un producto multimedia que genere competencias en términos de derechos y deberes, para hacer un uso responsable de las redes sociales en jóvenes de 15 a 17 años y sus padres, en la ciudad de Bogotá. Para desarrollar la presente investigación se toma como base la metodología Design Thinking. Como resultado de los testeos con el usuario se elabora una aplicación en la que padres e hijos crean un perfil colaborativo para conocer los distintos tipos de riesgos de las redes, así como sus derechos y deberes. Se concluye que tanto jóvenes como padres tienen toda la disposición para poder tener una conversación abierta y hablar sobre temas relacionados con los peligros que se encuentran en las redes.
