AB - Este trabajo de grado tiene como finalidad plantear estrategias ecoturísticas en
torno al Humedal Guaymaral, logrando de esta manera contribuir en su
conservación y preservación, para lograr este objetivo inicialmente se investigo
acerca de las generalidades del Humedal, por medio de fuentes secundarias se
realizó un análisis de las características ambientales del Humedal desde una
perspectiva histórica, geográfica y cultural, esto significa identificar los aspectos
relevantes del ecosistema como son el aspecto abiótico (condiciones del agua y
clima) y componentes biótico (flora, fauna, y vegetación)
A partir del análisis de las generalidades y teniendo conocimiento acerca del
Humedal se buscó trabajar con los Colegios Bilingüe Richmond, Nueva York y la
Fontana, se aplicaron metodologías experimentales y participativas a través de
recorridos y talleres que permitieron identificar y analizar los conflictos ambientales
y sociales que se encuentran en el Humedal, Además de esto se aplicaron unas
encuestas y se realizaron unos talleres a los estudiantes que permitieron
identificar su conocimiento, participación y grado de apropiación sobre este
ecosistema.
Para finalizar, se analizó a partir del trabajo con los estudiantes (recorridos
encuestas, talleres) la situación en la que se encuentra el Humedal Guaymaral y
se plantearon una serie de estrategias tienen como finalidad contribuir en su
conservación, Asimismo se realizó un folleto para dar a conocer el Humedal
Guaymaral, mostrar su potencial ecoturístico y dar las pautas para conservar
ecosistemas como este. 

ABSTRACT
This work aims to raise level ecotourism strategies around Wetland Guaymaral ,
achieving in this way contribute to their conservation and preservation, to achieve
this goal initially was investigated about the generalities of Wetlan , through
secondary sources conducted a analysis of the environmental characteristics of the
wetland from a historical , geographical and cultural perspective, this means
identifying the relevant aspects of the ecosystem such as abiotic aspect ( water
conditions and weather) and biotic components ( flora, fauna, and vegetation)
From the analysis of the general and having knowledge of Wetland sought to work
with the Colleges Bilingual Richmond , New York and Fontana, experimental and
participatory methodologies were applied through tours and workshops that helped
identify and analyze environmental conflicts and social found in the wetlands , in
addition to this a few surveys were conducted and workshops allowed the students
to identify their knowledge , participation and degree of ownership on this
ecosystem were performed .
Finally, it was analyzed from working with students (surveys tours , workshops )
the situation in which there is the Wetland Guaymaral and a number of ecotourism
strategies which are designed to contribute to their conservation were raised , also
a brochure was made to publicize the Wetland Guaymaral , show their ecotourism
potential and provide guidelines to conserve ecosystems like this.
