Turismo comunitario y objetivos de desarrollo sostenible en Lejanías, Meta

Abstract

En Colombia, muchos territorios que durante las décadas del conflicto armado eran desconocidos en el sector turístico, empezaron a tener una llegada significativa de turistas y visitantes luego del acuerdo de Paz; como es el caso de Lejanías, un municipio que ha cambiado su imagen de conflicto y actualmente se está construyendo como destino turístico emergente que propende por un desarrollo sostenible con la participación de diversos actores: público, privado y organizaciones regionales, nacionales e internacionales. Por lo anterior, se analizan los aportes del turismo administrado por la población local de Lejanías y su contribución a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible del PNUD. La investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo de tipo exploratorio-descriptivo, y se ejecuta a través de entrevistas semi-estructuradas y revisión documental para recolectar la información. Se analiza, finalmente, al turismo comunitario en varios elementos: como un motor que contribuye a la generación de empleo y mejora económica, promueve la generación de procesos de conservación de los recursos naturales, permite la vinculación y participación de la mujer, la construcción de paz y mejorar la calidad de vida de algunos grupos sociales involucrados. In Colombia, many territories that during the decades of the armed conflict were unknown in the tourist sector, began to have a significant arrival of tourists and visitors after the Peace Agreement; as is the case of Lejanías, a municipality that has changed its image of conflict and is presently being billed as an emerging tourist destination that tends to sustainable development with the participation of various actors: publics and privates; regional, national and international organizations. Therefore, analyzes the contributions of tourism managed by the local population of Lejanías and their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The research has a qualitative perspective of exploratory-descriptive type, and is a development through semi-structured interviews and document review to collect the information. Finally, the community tourism is analyzed in several elements: as a motor that contributes to the generation of employment and economic improvement, promotes the generation of processes for the conservation of natural resources, allows the connection and participation of women, the construction of peace and the improvement of the quality of life of some social groups involved.
