dc.description.abstractLa salinidad en los manglares afecta la producción de metabolitos secundarios, los cuales son de interés biotecnológico como los compuestos antimicrobianos. Sin embargo, la información de la biosíntesis de metabolitos secundarios, la resistencia microbiana y el efecto de la salinidad en la expresión de los genes en los ecosistemas de manglar es limitada. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue determinar el efecto de la salinidad sobre la abundancia de genes asociados a la síntesis y resistencia de compuestos antimicrobianos presentes en el suelo rizosférico utilizando metagenómica y bioinformática. Por medio de la extracción de ADN, se secuenciaron en la plataforma Illumina HiSeq y análisis de los datos utilizando la plataforma web MicrobiomeAnalyst y STAMP. Se encontró que las abundancias de genes presentaron diferencias significativas en relación con los gradientes de salinidad baja, media y alta de la comunidad bacteriana del manglar en la desembocadura del Río Ranchería y se estableció la diversidad funcional de los genes con actividad antimicrobiana y la resistencia de estas, siendo Streptomycin biosynthesis la vía más abundante asociada a la síntesis de antimicrobianos en los tres puntos de salinidad y el gen más abundante K01710 (E4.2.1.46, rfbB, rffG; dTDP-glucose 4,6-dehydratase) igualmente en los tres puntos de salinidad.spa
