Diagnóstico Y Plan Estratégico Del Festival Del Retorno Para La Dinamización Del Sector Turístico En Acacías Meta.

Abstract

RESUMEN El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo la realización de un diagnóstico junto con la formulación de un plan estratégico del Festival del Retorno orientados a contribuir a la dinamización del sector turístico del municipio de Acacías (Meta). Se utilizó una metodología descriptiva, puesto que se analizó, detalló y documentó, la realidad de un fenómeno como lo es el Festival del Retorno, desde una perspectiva objetiva, con el uso de técnicas de investigación que facilitaron la construcción del plan estratégico. En cuanto a instrumentos de recolección de información se emplearon básicamente dos tipos: encuestas estructuradas y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Dichas encuestas y entrevistas fueron aplicadas tanto a asistentes al Festival del Retorno del año 2013, como a dueños y/o empleados de establecimientos prestadores de servicios turísticos y a representantes o directores de entidades gubernamentales, obteniendo como resultado, la base para el análisis de la situación actual del sector turístico y paralelamente el perfil del visitante, ambos aspectos de vital importancia para la construcción del plan estratégico, que contribuirá a la adecuada planificación y desarrollo del festival logrando a su vez la dinamización del sector turístico en el municipio. Finalmente, el plan estratégico propuesto en el presente trabajo busca contribuir al desarrollo del programa: “Conocimiento, valoración y recuperación del patrimonio histórico y cultural”, que hace parte del Plan de Desarrollo Económico, Social y de Obras Públicas, el cual a su vez, orienta y guía la administración pública del municipio de Acacías. ABSTRAC This study aimed to the realization of a diagnosis together with the formulation of a strategic plan of Festival del Retorno aimed to contribute to the revitalization of the tourism sector in the municipality of Acacias (Meta). A descriptive methodology was used, as analyzed, explained and documented, the reality of a phenomenon such as the Festival of Return, from an objective perspective, using research techniques that resulted in the construction of the strategic plan. Two techniques of research, surveys and semi- structured interviews applied were mainly used. The diagnosis was made based on surveys and interviews with both attending the Festival of Return of 2013, as owners and/or employees of local tourism service providers and representatives or directors of government agencies, resulting in the basis for the analysis of the current situation of tourism and visitor profile parallel, both aspects vital to the building of strategic plan, which will contribute to the proper planning and development of the festival at the same time achieving the revitalization of tourism in the municipality. Finally, the approach proposed in this paper strategic plan seeks to contribute to the development of the program: "Knowledge, assessment and recovery of historical and cultural heritage", which is part of the Economic Development Plan, Social and Public Works, which in turn, directs and guides the public administration of the municipality of Acacias.
