Salva un humedal. Entorno digital enfocado en la preservación de los humedales en Bogotá (estudio de caso, humedal de Techo)

Abstract

En Bogotá se encuentran alrededor de 50 humedales de los cuales 15 son reconocidos: esto significa que cuentan con un estatuto legal que establece los bienes y servicios que ofrecen, así como las acciones que los ciudadanos deben realizar para su preservación.. Uno de los 15 es el humedal de Techo, el cual se encuentra deteriorado. Hace 20 años este humedal contaba con 148 hectáreas, pero por asuntos de construcción legal o ilegal, desechos de residuos como basura y escombros, entre otros, hace 10 años se redujo a 11.67 y actualmente apenas cuenta con 3 hectáreas que poco a poco se convierten en un basurero. Partiendo de esto, el proyecto “Salva un humedal” pretende difundir el estado actual del humedal de Techo entre los residentes del conjunto residencial aledaño (Parques de Castilla 4), por medio de una herramienta análoga-digital, de modo que estos puedan entender por qué el humedal está en Alerta Naranja1

y aportar en su

protección Para ello, se utiliza la metodología de Bruce Archer a partir de tres etapas (analizar, crear y ejecutar) enfocadas en los usuarios con edades entre los 50 y 60 años que viven o transitan en zonas aledañas al humedal. . A partir de los resultados de la caracterización del usuario,se pudo concluir la conveniencia de que el producto fuera claro y contara con información audiovisual e ilustraciones. Por otra parte y dado el interés de los usuarios por interactuar con un elemento que los hiciera parte de los humedales, con el fin de contribuir desde sus hogares. Se definió un kit ecológico, así como un blog informativo con cápsulas audiovisuales una galería fotográfica que les ayudaran a entender y conocer más sobre los humedales. Se espera que a un futuro, esta herramienta análoga-digital sea funcional y escalable para ser aplicada en otros humedales.
